David Lohner works as researcher and educator at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and is board member of the German Association for Academic Development (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Hochschuldidaktik e.V.). He describes himself as a “nerd” and, as a university didactics expert, is committed to open education and open science 🖖. He aims to make teaching and learning processes more effective and efficient in the digital age and to promote the academic media skills of students and academics in qualification phases and all other career stages.
At the PKM Summit David will give a talk together with Stefan Siegel as they work together within Note Lab. At “Note Lab”, David Lohner and Dr. Stefan T. Siegel address topics related to note-making in academia and teaching. Their goal is to provide both educators and students with empirically based strategies for composing, developing, and connecting notes, as well as to present workflows for writing notes that are proven in our experience and within the community. They primarily view note-making and knowledge management from a educational psychological and media education perspective.
